Wissen wie man in die Sauna geht – Diploma 2024
Dealing with the topic of classism. I myself come from a working-class family, being the first person in my family and close relatives to graduate from high school. The exhibition I created embodies a personal examination of the topic. In general, it is a lot about hurdles and difficulties, feelings about a lack of self-confidence and constant doubts about one's own abilities. Although these are stories that I have experienced personally, there is still something structural to be recognized in each theme, each object, and through the stories I have written down, which I call “invisible”, I tell of supposedly subjective experiences, of certain behaviours or feelings. However, these are patterns identified by Bourdieu on the subject of Habitus. The exhibition is divided into habitus, education, social origin and work. Artifacts such as a greatly enlarged school leaving certificate with a reference to suitability for secondary school on the subject of education, a beer mug from the father and a grandmother's work scarf on the subject of work, a carp stone necklace for social origin, experienced stories on the subject of Habitus, and a silk scarf, which can signify a supposed rise in social class, form the core elements of the exhibition.
Publication/Bag for the "Absolvent*innen 24/25" at the Academy of fine Arts Nürnberg together with Lucia Schmuck
The idea behind this artistic catalog was to present the graduates of the AdBK with a memento that goes beyond mere documentation: a catalog that also functions as a portable bag at the same time. This meant that the object could not only be used as a personal tribute to their graduation, but also as a practical item to take with them on the evening of the ceremony. The catalog thus becomes a hybrid object - between a book, a bag and a performative accessory - that both functionally and symbolically marks the transition into a new phase of life.

The publication brings together the texts, artistic works and visual exchanges of the first Covid-19 pandemic semester 2020 of one painting class. The exclusively digital created content is translated into a new format – an analogue exhibition space. The three parts of the objectlike book represent the new digital collective forms of work, which should not embody an imitation of physical presence, but constitute new formats. Accordingly, the design also quotes and translates the digital origin. The books are offset printed, the foils are screen printed and the different parts are joined together with magnets. Group Exhibition at Akademie Galerie Nbg "Wir haben gelernt mit unseren Händen zu denken" Anni Albers
Curated together with Lola Vorläufer
Inspired by the textile artist and Bauhaus teacher Anni Albers, Lola Vorläufer and I curated a group exhibition in 2024 with a clear focus: ceramic works by women artists. The exhibition showcased a wide range of contemporary ceramic practices – from seemingly functional objects like a flower vase adorned with printed stickers and photographs, to a life-sized panther sculpture, and abstract, free-form works suspended from a custom-built metal framework.

Schrauber – A Dissection
Bachelor Thesis, 2018
Inspired by my childhood memories—when young men, barely old enough to hold a driver’s license, would drift through the countryside in their modified cars—and also by the music video Signatune by DJ Mehdi, I decided to dive into the world of car tuning, especially in rural areas.
My research began on Facebook, where I discovered Franconian tuning groups. I was fortunate enough to join some of their gatherings, which gave me the opportunity to photograph the people, their homes, and of course, their cars. One of the groups I followed was based in Eichstätt. Another contact came from the Ansbach tuning scene, though that group declined to be photographed.
I also attended larger events like the “Ansbacher Tuning Treff 2018” and the “Tuning Messe Bodensee,” gaining further insights into the culture and its aesthetics.
The result of my exploration is a large-format publication—visually intense and physically unwieldy—that captures my impressions. Each photo is accompanied by captions that reflect my personal feelings and reactions to the world I encountered.
